Huh?

[Roxas stops to look at Ventus before his eyes are drawn down. There's puddles... He moves his feet and finds more as he sinks into his new steps. But his feet don't feel wet.

But Ven isn't sinking the same?]

Why is the snow melting? [He puts a hand to his forehead, yet doesn't feel anything out of place.] Do I have a fever?

[That would be weird if that was the cause, but he can't think of anything else that would make this happen. And what's with the wind?]

I don't think you do.

[But Ventus doesn't seem to notice how he isn't stepping into the snow either.

He blinks at the wind, looking around curiously.]

This is kind of weird.

[Roxas crouches down and looks at Ventus' feet.]

....... how are you doing that?

[Invisible snowshoes?]

Doing what?

[He looks at him curiously.]

Floating. Above the snow.

[He reaches out to pat the snow under Ven's feet.]

Weird...

Wha--

[Ventus looks down.

Has he...really not been stepping on the snow?]

That's weird--

[And just like that, the wind around them gets stronger and playfully tosses Ven up in the air, causing him to flail.]

[Roxas squeaks, then huffs.]

That's not fair! All I'm doing is melting stuff!

[Why did Ven get the fun thing to do?]

Though how are you gonna get down?

[brokenlight]

I'd rather melt than fly right now.

[He peeks down at him.]

Can you try to pull me down?

The air up higher is colder, right?

[Some lessons stuck. Some.

Nodding, he reaches up and grabs one of Ven's ankles. Then he drops his weight to pull Ventus down, even if it means Roxas will just be sitting in melting snow if it fails.]

[Sorry Roxas, but Ventus is still up in the air.

A+ for effort though. The wind bounces Ventus almost playfully.]

This is....definitely not ordinary wind.

[The bounce makes Roxas let go and drop awkwardly to the ground.]

It's annoying. How can we get flowers if you're stuck in the air!

[A blink and he looks at the wind -- or tries to.]

Do you mind putting me down? We need to get flowers for Queen Anna.

[As if responding the wind starts to pick Roxas up too.]

[He's perfectly capable of walking!]
