Don't leave things lying around

Lightning had been more than aware of the Unversed. She noticed them when she worked. Noticed them following people around, people she knew Mii was tracking to keep tabs on them. She had asked him not to have them follow her, and she was thankful that he was that respectful.

Curiosity overtook her one day. She found an Unversed, something that looked like a rabbit, wandering around one day. Since no one was around, she picked it up. It was cute enough. Though it was the weirdest looking rabbit she had ever seen.

If her intuition was correct, he'd feel everything she did to this Unversed. So she sat on the ground in her little quiet place and sat it on her lap. "I take it you're well aware of this." She tried not to smirk. Things had been boring around Koriko for her. Lightning takes the bunnies ears into the hands and starts playing with them. She knows that ears on animals were sensitive. Let the torture begin.

The Hair-raiser chittered when it was initially picked up, but downright purred and made delighted little noises at the pets. Nuzzling up against her hands and bouncing before settling into Lightning's lap for the attention... well. Halfway across town, Mii can feel his ears getting handled and it's with a scarlet scowl that he shuts his eyes - searching through countless other ones until he can find which one it is that is touching an Unversed. He remembered seeing Lightning briefly through one, and that was definitely her voice...

What did he say to everyone who ever sees them? Don't touch them? They're not that cute, especially the rabbits.

Her fingers kept playing with the ears, moving in gentle little circles. It was clear that this creature enjoyed this immensely. One of her hands moves down and pets its head, rubbing it right between the eyes like you would do with a cat. Lightning couldn't help it. Despite her initial hesitation about the Unversed, they did prove to be useful. She probably shouldn't be doing this. She should just let it go and just let it run along.

Where would the fun in that be?

The creature purrs louder, a muddled sound compared to a cat, but it was definitely loving the attention. While it sat still and nuzzled into Lightning's hands, it's not long before an inky black portal opens up a handful of yards away and Mii is stepping through it. Shaking off the darkness like water, giving Lightning a downright scowl on sight, Mii waves a hand at that Unversed in attempt to make it move - it doesn't.

"Yeah, I'm well aware when anyone starts touching them. Look, they sell cats in town. If you want something cute and cuddly to manhandle, pick one of those up."

Well, she hand't expected him to show up that quickly. That portal trick was neat. Lightning wasn't done, though. She wraps an arm around the Unversed to hug him against her chest, and moves her hand to scratch it under its skin. She intentionally takes her time before looking at Mii.

"Cats are nice, but they're not as fun. They're just cats, after all."

Ah. The skin on his cheeks scarlets all over again when she hugs the Unversed to her chest. He can feel the presence of warmth against his back, something soft around him the way that Hareraiser was nuzzling into place. It was far more content about this affectionate situation than its source. Chittering and cooing, tipping its head up to expose more of its little chin to the scritches, Mii actually had to reach up to rub his own chin, trying to ignore the feeling as it echoes onto his body.

"Cats are way more fun than Unversed."

And her attention is now fully on the Unversed in her lap again. It did feel peculiar to have this creature trying to nuzzle itself closer to her via her breasts, but to keep this up, she'll ignore that feeling. This wasn't about her, after all. She scratches it's chin in little circles now, mostly with her fingertips and nails so it felt more like a caress than actual scratches.

"Cats run away after a while. This little rabbit seems more than happy to stay in my lap."

"That little rabbit is the embodiment of my emotions of loneliness. Of course it's starved for attention. Move the little shit and it will go back to it's tab keeping."

It's embarrassing to watch the bunny snuggle in like that, he's well aware of what it was nuzzling up against and it's even more embarrassing because of that. He can feel the warmth on his own skin and he's nowhere near Light. Shifting his feet, trying not to fidget at the feeling of ghostly touches stroking his face, he grumbled.

"I'm aware of that. And I don't want to."

If he wanted the Unversed to move, he would have to come over and move it. Would Mii risk getting that close to Lightning? She was willing to risk it. Quite frankly, Lightning felt like how the rabbit did. Starved for attention, which she absolutely hated. She and the rabbit had a lot more in common than she was willing to admit. The scratching continues, and she decides to plant a little kiss on its forehead.

That little kiss genuinely makes Mii shiver. Reaching up, actually covering his forehead like that could prevent his skin from tingling at the feeling, his cheeks flaring red, Mii stares at the Unversed, as if stony glares alone could make it move. The rabbit only cheerfully chirped at the scratches and the kiss, turning its little nose up to boop her right on back on the mouth.

Mii finally moves when it does that - he can't have this continuing. It only takes a few steps to get in close and he almost hesitates - he doesn't know what she'll do with him in arms reach, but Mii darts his arm in to reach and try to snag that Unversed.

She complies to the boop with another kiss. And then another to where its mouth should be. She is well aware of Mii coming closer. She pretends she doesn't, still continuing lavishing attention on the Unversed. The moment his arm comes into range, Lightning's hand shoots out and grabs his wrist in a vice like grip. She raises an eyebrow at him and there is a hint of a smile on her lips.

"Trying to join in or interrupt?"

His face is dark red and his mouth is turned down in as much of a frown as he can and he knows damn well she knows what she's doing. He doesn't fight the grip, there's no sense when it's that strong, and he turns his eyes from the rabbit to her, meeting with bright gold.

"Interrupt. If you're going to give the damn thing the attention I can feel, you might as well be kissing me."

Ah. That was easier to say than it should have been, but his point is made. Either she'll stop and set the Unversed aside, or he's about to get even more embarrassed but at least be feeling it himself, instead of through an extension.

Oh, Mii, that will be taken as a challenge. Light will not back down from something like that. Keeping her grip on his wrist, she gives the rabbit on more kiss before gently depositing it on the ground. "Run along now."

Now she can turn her full attention to the intended target. Since he challenged her to kiss him, she will do just that. Using his wrist to jerk him closer, she grabs his collar and pulls him down towards her. Just to make sure he couldn't complain, he gets what he wants, which is a kiss. Probably a lot softer kiss than what he thought he would get. Despite her attitude, this is her first time kissing anyone.

The Unversed chitters and moves along as told, and it's with his mouth turning up into a quirked sort of smug smile that Mii lets himself get yanked in closer. Crouching, letting himself drift to his knees just before her so he's not downright toppling into her lap where she was seated, Mii meets Light's kiss with his face still red but his expression smug.

It really was softer than he thought it would be, but he wasn't about to break it to argue. Batting his eyes, then letting them shut since staring while kissing was strange, Mii kept his hands to himself even if he tipped his head enough to return the smooch.

Congrats, Mii, you get to see Lightning blush. She seriously did not think he would kiss her back without a fight. Which nags at the back of her mind that maybe he had intended to do this. Not like she would complain. He was a lot better at this sort of thing than she was.

When she does pull away, she has a very peculiar look on her face. It's part triumph, curiosity, and of course that blush. She is speechless for a moment before looking over towards where the bunny had been. She still had that question she wanted to ask. So she looks him straight in the face. "That rabbit was far to easy to catch." It was a statement more than a question. Oh, and she's not letting him go, pulling him closer so that their noses are practically touching. The answer he would give her would determine just how much more she would to do him. It was either pleasure or pain, Mii. Choose wisely.

"You weren't having me followed, were you?"

Licking his lips briefly, cracking his eyes open when she draws back to just look her over, he chuckles lightly even when she draws him in close and all he can taste is her breath. His ears are still red, cheeks still flushed, but with that question he neatly shakes his head - just enough to skim their noses together.

"Nah. That rabbit was keeping tabs on Aki, it got a little behind after you picked it right up. They're not exactly fast."

Did he choose wisely enough?

Aki? Well, she wasn't too happy about that part, but she knew he wouldn't let her be followed without her permission. Light felt more relieved that he hadn't forgotten her explicit warning about what would happen if she was followed. That earns you a few more points, Mii. "Aki is pretty quick. Might want to send something else after her."

Their noses touching that lightly was an odd, not unpleasant, feeling. A thought springs into her head that makes her feel just a tad more excited about this than she thought she should be.

The great thing about being a guard was all the tools she had at her disposal. Like rope. She lets him go long enough to shift and grab it. Lightning is pretty fast, so grabbing Mii's wrists and tying them along with parts of his upper arms as a restraint was not too difficult in a hurry. Who knew tricks learned on the job to subdue spirits would come in handy?

He lets her - he sees her pulling up a rope and he downright lets her tie up his arms out of pure curiosity. He could break the restraint if he so well pleased, but he didn't want to. Just wearing a wide smile and a curious look, Mii quirks an eyebrow up and looks down at how the ropes were around his forearms.

"Heeeh, what's this for?"

"So you can't run off." Partially true. She was going to tease him till he begged for it... and go from there. She gets up and moves behind him. Light pulls a strip of cloth from her bag and ties it around his eyes. Can't let him see what she was up to.

When that was done, she wraps her arms around his neck and rest her chin on one of his shoulders, moving her head so she was breathing on his neck. "Well?"

Putting up no fuss even when she slips behind him to blindfold him, Mii turns his head slightly and shifts - shivering at the breath on his neck and voice in his ear and why is he so interested in what she might do?

"I didn't think I looked ready to run off on you."

Ok, now she knows what she wants to do. She's not going to be nice. She nips his earlobe before pulling away. She stands and walks around him, hands on her hips. "Hmm... what to do first? Should I be nice?"

She kneels down in front of him and chuckles. "I'l play nice for now~" She gives him a feather soft kiss on the lips. Light then proceeds to plant those same soft kisses on his cheeks and neck. She wants to see how far she can push him again before he gets aggressive. She'll then keep repeating it until she feels satisfied with the torture she's putting him through.

Grunting at that nip, leaning back just in time for her to be moving away - it's annoying to be blindfolded. Should he cheat and watch through an Unversed? No, not yet. Mii follows Rose in his minds eye, following her footsteps until she was around before him again and there was that ghost of a kiss. Puckering to chase her mouth and return it, shifting to sit up on his knees with his arms hanging loose in front of him and still tied together, he lets her keep kissing at him but only because he can return those little kisses blindly up her neck.

It's a little embarrassing, and it's slowly becoming more embarrassing the more those kisses stay light and soft and affectionate - he's not used to plain affection. He wants more than just these little smooches and it starts showing in how he shifts and nips at her ear. It also shows in the way his pants are starting to tent between his legs - even if he's not quite realizing it. He feels warm, if anything.

She's very amused at his reaction. Those kisses on her neck leave her shivering, and she fights the urge to just kiss him again. The nip at her ear makes her mind go blank for a moment. In response she lets out a very soft moan. That was not something she expected. This was a hell of a time to find out about sensitive ears.

A glance down left her well aware of how she was affecting him, trailing a few more kisses down his neck before biting down hard. She had always wanted to try that, making sure not to break the skin. At this rate she wasn't sure if she could stop herself. Would she even want to stop?

That was a nice sound, and part of him wondered if them hanging outside like this was going to last with those continued kisses - and then she bites and he's sucking in a sharp breath, but exhaling a low, husky groan. Downright curling his toes in his boots and shivering, Mii opens his mouth and drags his teeth softly down her neck - he doesn't share the gesture though. He doesn't know if that'll get him socked.

She definitely liked that noise he just made. She lets one more soft moan escape before kissing him deeply. She makes sure to pull away quickly and moving just out of his reach. She lets out a chuckle as she sits down on the ground and watches him. "Well. Seems to me you're all riled up now. What are you going to do about it?" She chews on her lip as she waits for an answer, feeling rather frustrated herself. There was still that thought of hers that she wants to drag this out as long as possible.

Licking his lips even after she's left him, settling back to sit on his heels even as he shifts where his weight rests on his knees, Mii softly growled - it wasn't something intimidating though, no, it was light frustration for the pooling heat in his gut and the discomfort of his pants suddenly.

"You've got me all tied up right where you want me, and you ask me that?"

"You're holding back. I know you're just trying to pretend that rope is keeping you from touching me." She says this in an almost teasing tone. Leaning back and resting her weight on her hands, Light continues to watch him intently. "Surprised you've got so much self-control. Figured you'd be the type to take advantage of a situation like this and not be toyed with." Yeah, she's goading him on right now. This really is way too much fun for her. If only she had more things with her to try out on him, it would make this better.

"I wanted to know what you were doing. What better way than to just let you do it?"

Flexing his arms in place, smirking as he can practically hear that tease with her words, Mii twists his wrists past each other and then turns them outward, giving him enough wiggle room to pull one free, and then the other. The blindfold though, he leaves alone - it might be now that Lightning will realize there are still Unversed around, even if they're not contributing to anything more than Mii's sight.

He really was an interesting guy, she won't deny that, but she's far from letting him take control of the situation. She looks around and huffs as she does. "Using them to see? That's practically cheating. Or are you the type who likes to see himself from all angles?"

She seriously would not put that past him. Mii was pretty unpredictable in her eyes. She'll have to keep a closer watch on him now.
